Sciatica
Sciatica — medically termed lumbar radiculopathy — is radiating leg pain caused by compression or irritation of a nerve root in the lower spine, most often from a herniated disc or spinal stenosis. The pain travels along the sciatic nerve through the buttock and down the leg, sometimes with numbness or weakness.
